These clamps are designed for both a high clamping force and a long service life. The control-lever weldment is made of carbon steel, heat-treated to 800– 1000 MPa. The lever of the 291 model is made of cast stLe6el. The fastening legs, draw rods and pivots are made of carbonitrided material and hardened to 48 HRC. The clamps are all blackened. The clamp includes a long, solid lever with openings for the installation of formative elements. The main intended application is with heavy-duty jigs for cutting or welding, for example in the automotive industry.
